🩹Jeff’s Favorite First Aid essentials

The best first aid is prevention. The second best is training. The third best is the basic essentials that I always carry.

In all of my First Aid kits you will find the following:

  • Gloves, Nitrile (pair), with hand wipe
  • Trauma Pad, 5″ x 9″
  • Irrigation Syringe 30cc (sterile)
  • Antiseptic Towelette
  • Triple Antibiotic Ointment, 1/32 oz package
  • NOLS Wound Kit: gauze, compound Benzoin Tincture (tropical skin protectant/adhesive), closure-strips, transparent semi-permeable dressing
  • Acetaminophen (500 mg), Pkg./2
  • Ibuprofen (200 mg), Pkg./2
  • Antihistamine (Diphenhydramine 25 mg)
  • Diamode (Loperamide HCL 2mg), Pkg.1
  • Aspirin (325 mg), Pkg./2
  • After Bite Sting and Itch Relief Wipe
  • Tick remover with small ziplocked bag
